Hi all,
I'm working on building visitor-level engagement scoring in Adobe Analytics. The goal is to assign a weighted engagement score to users based on behaviors like visits per month, orders, and pages per visit, and then segment users into groups like Top 20%, Bottom 20%, etc.
I started using ECID to track unique users, but I'm seeing that a large majority of activity in our Global Report Suite is tied to “Unspecified” ECIDs, which is severely limiting our ability to score and segment users at the visitor level.
Is there a way to do this kind of user-level scoring and segmentation without relying on ECID? Are there alternative persistent identifiers, dimensions, or techniques within Adobe Analytics that could help in cases where ECID is missing?
Appreciate any guidance or best practices!

Do you have Opt-Out settings that might be preventing the ECID from being set (so its using something like a fallback id instead of ECID)?
Or do you think that there is an issue with how you are collecting your ECID data? Are you storing this in a dimension? How are you collecting the value?

Hi @Sukrity_Wadhwa ,
I still need assistance. Trying to figure out a workaround where creating segments that satisfy the different user tiers works.
