Firefox tracking soon to be impossible?

Based on this article, Mozilla publishes official Firefox anti-tracking policy | ZDNet  , Firefox plans to use a third party to block certain tracking scripts.

Based on the list of scripts that the service blocks, disconnect-tracking-protection/services.json at master · disconnectme/disconnect-tracking-protection...  , it looks like Adobe Analytics would be affected.

Is tracking users on Firefox soon going to be impossible, pending this update from Firefox?

If you self host your Adobe DTM or Adobe Launch scripts, and use a CNAME data collection server, then this change to Firefox is unlikely to impact you. (At least until DisconnectMe filter on a path containing ^/b/ss/* ).
