exclude by ip via proxy

Avatar

Hi,

Is it possible to exclude internal visitors that are going through a proxy? Our internal traffic is routed through a third party proxy service so the external IP will be that of that company and not our own. We can't exclude traffic from their IPs as many other companies use their services. Is there a way of considering the original IP by using the XFF header or some other means in the exclude by IP feature?

Thanks

If you can capture the original IP address from the XFF headers into a prop/evar, you can have Adobe Consulting setup a DB VISTA Rule. Then you can control the IP addresses this VISTA Rule excludes based on. You can also have the VISTA move the data to another report suite, so that you can analyze on your internal traffic.
