Hi, I know email address is not captured in Adobe Analytics by default due to PII.  But can we import email addresses from our internal customer database into Adobe matching by customer id for instance?  Would this practice violate any rules or policies related to PII?

Hi Phil,

You have just described an alternative method of how data can be pushed into Adobe Analytics. It does not matter whether the email address is captured on the site/app, onboarded via Data Sources or Classification or Customer Attributes — the result is the same, PII gets stored and becomes available...
