Hi everyone,
i'm a new Adobe Analytics user, and i'm not able to exploit it properly yet, so i hope you can help me with this trouble.
I can monitor the results of a list of dealers by selecting the desired dealer and the period i want to check. What i'm asked to do, instead, is to have a list with all the dealers in the database at once about only the key metrics (Visits, Page Visited, Unique Visitors)
What i currently do is to select, one to one, every dealer, enter the Key Metrics sections and copy-paste the results in a Excel sheet... but it takes ages!
So here is my question: is there a way or a specific function to do this automatically with Adobe Analystics, in order to finally download it as Excel?
Thank you in advance
Regards
Angelo

I'd say if you are running a report for dealer#1 with 3 metrics and copy/pasting it to excel the first thing you want to do is figure out how to use report builder to get that report created directly in excel. Then for dealer#2 you just copy the report request and change dealer#1 to dealer#2 etc. If they are in the same report suite then it's easier because you can just list out the values of the 'dealer' variable and use them as input to the dealer report so you can get things in the correct order. If they are different report suites or login companies it becomes more difficult but still pretty straight forward to compile a list of metrics for a value of a prop/evar and to have them always in that order. That's what report builder does. I'd recommend if someone in your organization went to Adobe Summit to look at the report builder session replay S307 which does talk about doing some of this.
Or ask your SiteCatalyst admin a quick report builder tutorial for you. Or you can grab the documentation or look at the online training videos (help home left nav) and search for report builder. and finally you can always if you have any consulting hours get your adobe consultant to do an hour on report builder.
Your request just sounds like it could be done very easily with report builder and that would also make a reproducible report you can run monthly etc.

Report Builder sounds like the perfect solution, but i can't find the download: if i follow the path through Analytics -> Report Builder, i only have the description of the tool and then the sentence "TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ADOBE REPORT BUILDER, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATOR."
Of course i am the account admin, i'm looking for the download within the website and in the web but i really cannot find it.
Do you have any suggestion?

contact your adobe account rep. for some analytics implementations report builder is a separate cost license cost. For standard or premium I think you get unlimited but there is a tier below that where you don't. Ask them. They might be able to give you one to test and then you can decide on purchase.

Hi,
It is difficult to answer without a better understanding of which variable dimension type the 'Dealer' values resides within your Adobe Analytics implementation. Is there a full root menu path you can provide to help determine? In other words how do you select your current single line item 'Dealer' report? As long as your site web analytics data is being captured with 'Dealer' information as a group property that can either be selected or selectively filtered down then there should be nothing holding you back from pulling or scheduling a single report with all 'Dealer' line items to Excel or .CSV.
I would recommend reviewing the site content base report properties & custom traffic Help articles below for reference:
