Data Sources - exporting traffic data from one Adobe Analytics tool to another

Avatar

Level 2

I am looking into using Data Sources to get traffic data that is currently populating in one Adobe Analytics instance into another. Based on the documentation (https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/sc/datasources/data_sources.pdf ), it appears that the "Traffic Data Sources" option I need has been deprecated.

Are there any other options to upload traffic data (including pageviews, events, props, evars) from one Adobe Analytics instance to another?

Thank you!

Obtaining a Data Feed then importing it as a full processing data source is going to be your best bet if the data is retroactive.

If you're looking for a more permanent solution moving forward, I would recommend using Multi-Suite Tagging.

Use data insertion API: Overview | Adobe Developer Connection

Make sure to enable report suite for time enabled (only accept hits with manual timestamp) or timestamp optional. Delayed Data | Adobe Developer Connection
