Comparison to previous time period for flexible date ranges

Hi,

I'm creating a dashboard and am using summary change visuals.

In Google's Data Studio I'd add be able to add a comparison to previous time period and as I change dashboard date range, the report would automatically populate comparisons to the previous time period (same number of days as selected in dashboard date range) regardless whether I select a week, a month, custom date range, etc.

Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to find the same level of flexibility in Workspace. Does anyone know if there's an option to avoid having to pre-define the comparison date range and keep it flexible so the user can use the same report for last week's data comparisons as well as last month's or any custom date ranges they may wish to review?

I'd be most grateful for any tips.
