Changing the timing in a presenter presentation that will be published in connect

Hi There Adobe Community.  I need to have the slides in my deck not turn automatically when the audio stops.  I have gone into setting and unchecked the "use powerpoint timing for slide timing, changed the slide duration to over 60 seconds and un checked the start automatically check box, but when I preview the presentation in presenter, the slides turn after the audio is finished not giving the audience a chance to read or review the slide materials.
