Attribution Panel - Filtering with Segments, Calculated Metrics
Hi community,
I've been dabbling with the Attribution panel in CJA to solve some analytics use cases. I was wondering, what exactly happens when you filter the Attribution Success Metric (my Success metric is a Session scope metric) within the freeform table, by an Event level or Session level segment on top? Wondering if placing it over the metric either 1) filters the type of events or Sessions included in the Success metric component, or 2) if it actually filters the Dimension items within the attribution freeform? Couldn't seem to find this detail in the CJA documentation (if anyone has any docs other than Attribution Panel | Adobe Customer Journey Analytics let me know!!)
The example here is, I am trying to attribute Web pages to an application submission event online, and the Success metric is the submit page of that flow. The metric I've selected in the Attribution panel for app submissions is not product specific, and was wondering if I could place a filter on the metric using an additional segment or dimension e.g. product Name, to exclude irrelevant products from that metric?
Another question on Attribution panel.....is there really no way to use custom Calculated metrics as the Success metric within the panel? There are several use cases where analysts want to run through attribution exercises using their own customized fields, but it seems that only Metrics added within the Data View are available to use as Success metric in the Attribution Panel.
