Attribution IQ - Last Click Non-Direct

Avatar

Level 2

Hello Everyone,

Attribution IQ seems like a really cool feature. I would like to ask if it's possible to create a model which is used in some other analytics sollutions.

Last Click - Non-Direct

We would like to see how other marketing channel are performing while we ignore all direct visits. Anyone could help me if it's possible?

Thank you,
Maciek

There are two recommendations I'd have:

  • Disable 'override last touch channel' for Direct - this should be the case by default for newer report suites, but you can double check this in the Marketing Channel Manager in the Admin Console.
  • Segment out Direct - create a segment with the following definition:
    • Exclude all hits where marketing channel equals Direct

Between those two options, that should give you the data you're looking for.
