I would like to ask that would GAID(google advertising ID) affect the tracking of Adobe Analytics? if so, how will it work? Thanks advance!

Unless you are specifically asking your developers to retrieve the GAID and pass it into your Adobe Analytics, I would think there should be no connection between the two.


If you are passing the info, I suppose you would need to be aware that as of 2021, Android 12 users can opt out of personalized ads, and when they do this means that Google makes the GAID unable to the developers, it will just send a string of zeros.

 

However, you would be sending this as something that you would be passing to a prop or eVar most likely, so it shouldn't impact anything either that that one dimension.... (again, assuming you are even leveraging it)
