Alerts - Can you create hourly alerts that only run between specific hours?

Hi everyone,
I want to know if it's possible to create hourly analytics alerts that only run between specified hours.
For example, is it possible to create an hourly alert that only runs between 09:00-17:00?

Any information would be hugely helpful.

@tcrewes1 Alerts are fired as soon as the mentioned condition in the alert definition is fullfilled. I am afraid it is possible to get them fired in a particular time slot as they are meant to alert the consumer about an anomaly detected on their website. So the trigger is sent as soon as a condition is met.

    Thanks @amgup. Makes sense. Hopefully Adobe will add this functionality at some point.

    You could potentially create a segment using the '24h Clock by hour' dimension and set it with an OR check for all the hours you want to return/check data by.

     

    Use this segment then as a filter in your alert with the metric you want to trigger on.

     

    That might work.
