Adobe report builder scheduler not sending report

Avatar

Hi everyone, I have an Excel dashboard built with Adobe report builder. But, when I schedule it, it is not sending it to any of the receiver emails including me. So, what could be the problem? If I check on History of the scheduler, it shows: Initiated > Queued > Referesh Start > Refresh in progress "Workbook Sent" is never shown. What could be the reason? I have tried everything

It's a while since I've used RP extensively, but does the report refresh manually within Excel?

Is there a date range in the schedule/report in the future, so is it waiting for data before completing the refresh?

Hi @croPro

If the schedule shows “Refresh in progress” but never gets to “Workbook sent,” a few things could be going on -

  • Try refreshing the file manually in Excel. If that fails or prompts for login, the schedule won’t work either.

  • Check the date range, if it is set in the future or returns no data, the export may hang.

  • Email issues can also cause this. Check spam folders and make sure Adobe’s emails aren’t blocked by your org’s filters.

  • If the file is too large, it might exceed the size limit and silently fail.

You could also test with a smaller report to see if that goes through. That usually helps narrow it down.

Hope that helps!

Have you checked for errors in the ARB Scheduled Reports Manager?

Components > All Components > ARB Scheduled Reports

If there is an error, I believe an error icon will appear here if there is a problem:
