Adobe Debugger alternative for Edge Users

Hi Community,

My company doesn't allow the use of Chrome/Firefox.

I used to use Adobe Debugger with Adobe Analytics. Is there an Edge extension which does the same thing? Or is there some command code I can use to check different values, e.g. click tracking?

Many thanks!

@brian_chau_clp  _satellite.setDebug('true') in the console will give you what the adobe debugger gives

Here are some commands that you can use

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/tags/client-side/satellite-object.html?lang=en

Note: This works only if you are using Adobe Launch as the tag management solution

Thanks Vani! Will check if the company is using Adobe Launch

Attaching a screenshot to clarify my understanding:

Is this correct? (It returns undefined though)

@brian_chau_clp It is correct. Once you put the command and enter it gives you undefined. But you need to reload the page to see the magic the command does to give you all the debug logs

You can install Google Chrome extensions in MS Edge with few to no problems.

So in Edge, head over to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adobe-experience-platform/bfnnokhpnncpkdmbokanobigaccjkpob. Edge will show you an info bar that you can install Chrome extensions in it. So go ahead and click the "Add to Chrome" button there, and you're good to go to use the AEP Debugger in Edge.

Thanks yuhuisg, however I don't see the info bar..

Don't worry about it if you don't see that info bar.

More importantly, click the "Add to Chrome" button to add the extension to Edge. (In my screenshot, the "Add to Chrome" button is hidden behind that "Switch to Chrome?" overlay. If you see that, click "No, thanks" to close-and-ignore the overlay.
