discover.jnpl after login is having lot of problems ("Ad Hoc Analysis quit unexpectedly." error message). Did anyone notice the same problem? is it any fix for that?

I was having the same exact problem - it happened with the latest Java 7 update. The only workaround I found was to uninstall Java 7 and re-install Java 6 using these guidelines:

If you re-download the discover.jnlp file, it should work for you. You can discard the old .jnlp file.
