Activity Map extension is not working

I am trying to find link click for our site. Able to login activity map. But the Analytics widget is not showing. Is there any know issue?

    Fix for Chrome

    chrome://flags/#third-party-storage-partitioning.
    Disable "Third-party Storage Partitioning" flag.

    Someone mentioned the other day that the Extension was having issues on Chrome.. there were a bunch of errors in the Chrome console... I suspect a Chrome update has broken something in the extension given the last update was in 2021....

     

    To be honest, I use Activity Map, but I never use the extension... I pull the data 100% from Workspace. In lieu of the extension, or at least until its fixed, you may have to pull the data from Workspace.

     

    The dimensions are:

    • Activity Map Link
    • Activity Map Region
    • Activity Map Page
    • Activity Map Link by Region

    The metrics are:

    • Activity Map Link Instances
    • Activity Map Region Instances
    • Activity Map Page Instances
    • Activity Map Link by Region Instances

     

    Depending on how customized your implementation is, some of these will be more useful than others (Region, if not configured will just capture the closest ID up the DOM tree... which is generally a name that only makes sense to developers..)

     

    However, if you need to find something specific, you can test the link using the Platform Debugger, and you will be able to see what Activity Map data is passed, and use that to filter and segment to find the information you need.

      Is the Activity Map v3 working these days? I went through this whole thread and it seems like this extension isn't functional.
      I am getting the "spinning" squares on the toolbar.

      Dang... I was actually wondering about this thread the other day if the extension had been fixed... it seems not....

      A JIRA has been opened for the Activity Map toolbar issue, it seems yes a Chrome update has broken something. You may try using the extension on Firefox or Edge, I guess it is working there.

        Thank you for the update. Do you have a URL where we can download firefox or edge activity map extension. Searched couldn't locate.

        You just need to login to your analytics account on Edge, then navigate to Tools > Activity Map, click on download and it should redirect you to chrome store in case of edge as well, just install the same and you should be able to use it edge. 

         

        Same follows for Firefox as well.

            Hey Everyone! 

            The new Activity Map v3 extension has been released.

            To download the extension, please go to https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/activity-map-v3/bknaiihbekigjeginplhehfiekeeodme and install the v3 extension.

            It is a separate extension from the existing activity map production extension, so the extensions will live side by side in the chrome bar until the user decides to remove the pre-existing extension.

             

            It will be updated in the upcoming September Adobe Analytics Release Notes, but you can start downloading and using it.

              Hello, I have followed the directions for Tools > Activity Map > Download in Firefox, but it's being blocked. If I download the file in Chrome to upload into Firefox, the file linked on the Activity Map page for Firefox still says 1.0. And if I upload that file to the extensions page in Firefox, it tells me it's corrupt and can't be added.

                Agreed. This is still not working in Chrome. I cannot add it in Firefox, either (it's blocked). 

                We need to use the Activity Map extension daily for immediate views while reviewing pages with stakeholders. Not all pages are in dashboards, and Adobe Analytics is much more complicated and time-consuming to use, and impossible to use quickly while on a call when asked how users are interacting with pages. @farazhusain 


                Hey @PRBo, In case there are any challenges, please feel free to log a ticket to Adobe Customer Care. The last time when I checked the tool was working, not sure if there are any recent bugs.
