Workspace: Make Sharing to Non-Adobe Users Easier

Currently the printer-friendly options for Workspace are horrendous - the PDF always displays as a single page, regardless of project length. And I get this is partially because the full breadth of features are in visiting the page, but not all of our clients have the user capacity to create a new login for every person to whom they want to distribute this information.

Idea is two-fold:

- Create a "Page Break" option/feature so reports can be more easily designed for printing of the report

AND

- Create Workspaces that can be viewed by anyone with a link (not required to use a login or allow logins that don't count against total users)

It severely limits the usability of Workspace in the current format, as our clients have to budget when they can actually use it and many end-users of the data still prefer physical documents in front of them.

Hi djc286. Thanks for submitting this idea. To clarify your use case, are you looking to actually print out your Workspace projects on paper? Or does your request have more to do with being able to point people to a specific page in the document?

You may be aware that your second idea was presented at Adobe Summit 2017 in the "Too Hot for Main Stage" session, so it's definitely something we are considering. Either way, we're glad that you shared your feedback with us, and we'll continue to monitor this thread for comments and votes.

Thanks Ben. Yes, the ability to print on paper. Currently the PDF is one page, regardless of size. I have been resorting to cropping approximate pages in Acrobat and rejoining as a Binder. Should be easier to distribute to non-Adobe Analytics users, who may choose to print.

And glad to hear I'm not the only one with the idea to share Workspaces outside a login. I think that would make people be able to take advantage of the full breadth of Workspace features (and may even serve as a nice method of showing the full power of Analytics to people who might consider becoming users in the future).

Hi there,

I would like to support djc286 proposal. It´s the same with our company. The only way to deliver the workspace analyses is in workspace itself. But for us there is no intention to give "everybody" even a limited Analytics account. We need as well an option to deliver the results via pdf but in a meaningful printible format.
