Trend More Than 1 Metric in Trend Reports/Graphs

Currently, you can only trend one metric in trended reports/graphs.  I wonder if there is a way to allow for trending multiple metrics in trend reports?

I like the idea but I think we would need the option of which axis to graph against.  I'm thinking, if you wanted to trend two metrics that are not on the same scale, which I do frequently in Excel, I would need that ability.

Agreed on both the two metrics and the 2 axis (option to enable 2 axis).  This would minimize the need to dump data into Excel to manipulate and evaluate

For me this is ok, but a more immediate need is to have a trend line for month to date, 4 weeks ago, and 52 weeks ago (the summary graph, in other words) for custon insight level metrics other than page views, including calculated and participation. I would use this in combination with the actual numbers in dashboards.

Add double-axis charts to site metrics

YWA does this; You should be able to view, for example, Page Views and Visitors in the same table and chart. One uses the left axis, the other the right. It lets you see any correlation.

I'm going to piggyback on the trending report topic and add that in addition to multiple metrics, it also would be useful to add a compare dates options to the trended report.  For instance how did my email traffic in January trended by day compare to last January trended by day.  Currently I'm having to either run both date ranges and export to excel or set up datablocks- fine for ongoing reports, but not as convenient for one off analysis or business questions.  This would be a huge time saver.  If there's a way to do this that I'm missing, I'd love to hear how to do it.

Personally, I think adding a second axis is a good idea.  Perhaps with a simple interface to:

- Swap the axes that the metrics live on

- Show only one metric at a time

- Pull in even more than 2 metrics in the Table

Love it!  It's very frustrating to switch metrics back and forth
