Join us January 15th for an AMA with Champion Achaia Walton, who will be talking about her article on Event-Based Reporting and Measuring Content Groups!
Currently, you can only trend one metric in trended reports/graphs. I wonder if there is a way to allow for trending multiple metrics in trend reports?
I want to see if there is a correlation between events over time from a high level perspective, the ups of an event leads to down of another. We can trend custom event one at a time, can we trend multiple events all at once on the same graph? It shouldn't be that difficult, please make it happen.
SiteCatalyst 15 allows you to compare multiple metrics on the same "over time" graph in the Key Metrics report. (Discover has been able to do this for some time.)
Adding it to Key Metrics allowed us to use the existing Trended report layout to show metrics instead of line items/dimension values. Adding the ability to trend multiple metrics on a normal Trended report would require a bit more work, so I'm setting this back to Partially Implemented to so that we can keep track of it as an unfinished feature. Thanks for the suggestions/input/feedback!
I'd like to voice my support for getting this one all the way implemented. I really want to be able to pick two metrics that make sense for my business, and see them trended on one report inside Site Catalyst.
And, I would love the ability to toggle between a single axis or double axis. Sometimes a secondary axis is key to show two trend lines in one report- but other times the values are related closely enough, OR I am trying to show the difference between them, and then the secondary axis is distracting. #agalcanwishright?
