Restrict report access for API users

Currently giving access to the API gives the user full access to all the reports and metrics for a company within SiteCatalyst.  I would love to be able to apply user access restrictions I have in place to users that have access to the Reporting API.  For example, I have users in different countries that I want to just give them access to their report suite for the API and since I cannot restrict access I cannot give them access to the API.
