Report Builder for Mac

Would love to see Report Builder available for the Mac. Out of my last 3 jobs, I've only been able to use it once for this reason. Not willing to get a PC just for Report Builder, but it would be huge to begin using this tool once again.

Hi There,

It would be great if someone could develope a mac version of report buidler for apple mac computers.

It would save a heap of time for people of mac computers.

Thanks

By way of update, we have researched various options for bringing report builder to Excel for Mac, but the software is simply too limited at this time for our product's needs. If an extremely limited version were created for Mac, would that still be valuable to you? We find most Mac users prefer to utilize virtualization technology over a limited native client option.

I've resorted to virtualization with parallels - windows 7 - office 2010, which can be expensive if you don't have access to free programs.

It just depends on how limited the Mac version would be. I think being able to refresh requests would be a great start.

Hi Eric_Hansen,

Is a Mac OS version in the horizon (even a limted version) and if so, is there an estimated launch date?

Thanks,

David Stephan

Hi David,

Sorry, I'm no longer the product manager for Report builder. Try reaching out to Ben Gaines for an update.

Thanks,

Eric

Those of you who have voted for this idea or commented on it, would you indicate here whether your organization has adopted Office365? (I would do this as a poll question but I don't think there's a way to do that in the Idea Exchange.) A simple yes/no would be great.

@benjamingaines

We haven't adopted Office 365. It's a possibility in the future, especially if that means we can use RB.
