Query Confidence

With the introduction of Insight 5.3, query confidence is the default metric displayed with the sidebar.   Even though we have the ability to toggle between query confidence and query completion, we would prefer to default the sidebar with query completion.   Is there a means to set the sidebar default to query completion rate versus the query confidence rate?   Query confidence is confusing for our user base.   Thank you.

Rory, I don't have this issue in 5.31.  I simply selected Query Completion and it saved that way ever since.  Mine always defaults to Query Completion when I load any profile.  - Craig

Interesting Craig.  I will need to follow up with Omniture on this.  Omniture told me there was no way to default the sidebar to always display query completion versus query confidence.  Query confidence is the default here and we want to remove that option altogether.

I searched Sidebar and there is nothing there that specifies (that I see).  I switched to Query Confidence and then tested changing profiles and also exiting.  In both situations it loads defaulting to Query Completion for me.

It feels like Omniture defaulted to Query Completion in the release. I am running release 5.31i (10031911).  Are you running the same?

Very interesting Craig.  We do have different releases.  We are running 5.31i (09121111).  Let me follow up with Omniture to see what the differences are.  Thanks!
