Provide guidelines around minimizing sampling in Discover

I've been told that Discover samples based on complex algorithms.  However, it would be great to know some standard guidelines to minimize this behavior or the ability to turn off sampling in crucial situations.  There are times when I simply cannot wait on a Data Warehouse request to get delivered and I need to drill in deep enough in Discover to see what is impacting specific user types.  Sampling throws this analysis off.
