Definitely dislike that the latest release removed the ability to quickly open/start a new Workspace project in a new tab. Please bring that back ASAP.

Till the time Adobe hear you, use duplicate tab or right click and use it same as open in a new window.

Another option could be to click Project > New, then right-click the "Create" button in the modal that appears to Open Link in New Tab:

Not as smooth as just right-clicking Workspace, but it is another option for ya
