mass alert for system issues

there are system issues today and as the company admin, I received multiple comments/questions from internal users, so I in turn called Client Care who indicates they are aware of the issues and no ETA.  That is inefficient communication and use of time, which could be helped if Omniture had a mass alert system, where either system issues notices could be placed directly on the UI, or emailed to system admins. Please consider implementing this time-saving idea.
