Internal Link Filter in SiteCatalyst Admin - Add ability to create exceptions for subdomains

Our domain is acs.org.  In admin we need to add acs.org to our internal link filters, but still want to see a subset of  sub domains of acs.org, such as pubs.acs.org  and cas.acs.org.  Goal is to see these subdomains in our referring domains report.  Need a way to add exceptions to the internal link filter in admin for specific sub domains of acs.org.

I'm quite sure you can simply add "//acs.org" as the internal filter if you just want to include the main domain

Andrea: so //acs.org would only filter acs.org or www.acs.org?

We do not want to filter pubs.acs.org, etc.

Why would Omniture customer service not know of this solution?  Interesting.

//acs.org will filter out http://acs.org and https://acs.org but neither www.acs.org nor pubs.acs.org

if you need acs.org and www.acs.org filtered out, just use:

//acs.org

//www.acs.org

Andrea:  Thank you so, so much.

So if I want to filter out www.acs.org, can I just use www.acs.org and that will catch http or https? Or do I need to put the //www.acs.org in to catch both.
