Feature Suggestion for Lightroom Classic: Customizable Auto Settings

As far as I know, there is currently no option in Lightroom Classic to combine automatic editing with custom adjustments. I would love to see a feature where users can define manual adjustments that are applied on top of the automatic edits.

For example, these could include:

  • Exposure: Brighten all photos by 0.3 stops after the auto adjustments.
  • White Balance: Increase the white balance for all photos by 100 points.
  • Highlights: Boost the highlights for all photos by 10 points.

The key is that the automatic editing remains the foundation, and the user-defined values are applied additionally. This would be incredibly useful for tailoring the auto adjustments to fit a specific style or project requirements without having to fine-tune each photo individually.

I believe this feature could greatly enhance the workflow for many users.

Thank you for considering this suggestion!

No worries @LukasSi2; this happens more often than you would think... I just want to be sure the right people see your idea, cause if it only lives here it's less likely to have the correct team look at it (I am not sure if the Adobe folks actually share when an idea is posted in the wrong spot... )

Good Luck!
