Display GeoSegmentation dimensions (countries, regions, US states, ...) in Map visualization

About the Map visualization: I think it's a really interesting feature. But the way it is displayed, whether in "bubbles" or "heatmap", is not practical to use. When zooming or unzooming, you never get to display correctly what you want...

It seems to me that this data is based on GeoSegmentation in the same way as the "countries", "regions", cities "," Zip code "," US States "and" US DMA "dimensions.

So why could not we have these dimensions in a map? (a map with countries, regions, US states or zip codes that would be delimited by their borders)

Thanks for your comment here - I want to make sure I'm understanding correctly.  Currently you have two options for the map visualization - you can either use lat/long values from the mobile SDK, or you can choose geographic dimension, which will use Countries/Regions/Cities under the hood (we start with Countries at the world level).  Depending on where you are looking at in the world and your zoom level, we break countries down by regions, and then eventually by cities.

When you say "you never get to display correctly what you want" - can you add a little more detail here so we can understand why?  Is it what Mike Thompson is saying where you would like to be able to "snap" to the Region level, or possibly to the city level? (ie, zoom levels for those dimensions)  Or is it something else?  Thanks.

Hi Brandon,

First, yes it would be handy to be able to "snap" to the Coutry, Region or City level for exemple in the settings of the Map report. That's more or less what I'd like to have.

Also, from my point of view, what is currently displayed is NOT the countries level and then the region level when you zoom, and the Cities level when you zoom more...

For exemple, here is a screenshot of why I get for one of my site under some segment:

As you can see, you cannot tell what is the value for France, for Belgium, for Germany for exemple. The figures that are displayed in bubbles gather info of a bigger are that is NOT a country nor a region...

And it is the same thing when you zoom at a closer level.
