Days as a Metric in Adobe Analytics

Description - Requesting for a new Metric to be added, which will give the number of Days a user visited a Page / Feature in a specific time period.

Why is this feature important to you - Since the past few months, we have been getting a lot of asks on the Day frequency for users to a construct, which is not available in Omniture currently. With multiple new features being added to Flipkart, this has become a critical metric for us, to monitor the stickiness of users.

How would you like the feature to work - For the overall platform or any specific page, we can get Visits or Visitors. 'Days' as a metric will give us the count of the number of Days in a date range that the user visited.

Current Behaviour - There is no metric which will tell us the number of Days a user visited on the platform or a particular construct. A lot of analyses are blocked due to this.

You could use the Approximate Count Distinct function to create a calculated "Days" metric. It's only going to return a count for days that have a value, but it sounds like that's what you want.

Here's an Analytics Demystified article explaining how to create a 'Daily Average Visits' metric. You'd use the same concept, just take out the Visits part. Should look like this:

This is going to be Approximate, meaning that sometimes it will be off by a small percentage, but hopefully it will work for you.
