Change date field format from "Mar 28, 2010" to "Mon 29 Mar 2010"

When viewing any report by "day" include an abbreviation of the day as well as the actual date.  eg,

Mon 29 Mar 2010 not Mar 28, 2010

When allowing for data export / save, make sure it's output in an Excel date format.

Also, the date column must be sortable in the reporting interface.
