calculate the sum of calculated metrics

SiteCatalyst cannot sum any calculated metrics, but why? Why was SiteCatalyst designed to not calculate these? I would like Omniture to allow SiteCatalyst to total calc metrics to avoid having to always pull the data into Excel (which is time consuming and annoying).

This has been a feature request to Omniture for years now, and Omniture always states that this is on their roadmap, but many releases have went out since, and still this feature does not exist.

Please Omniture, let us sum calculated metrics!
