I'd like control over what dimension/metrics etc can be used with in specific panels (rather than just at a workspace level)

Currently where I have a diverse set of panels in one workspace this opens up the possibility of end users putting dimensions that are only valid for one panel in to another panel and getting misleading/confusing results.

I think this would make things more simple for end users and reduce the chance of errors.

    We completely agree! This is something we are hoping to introduce in a future release.

    In addition to this I would really appreciate the ability to prevent users altering a panels date range to a period of time that I know is invald (and will therefore bring back incorrect results.)
