To clarify the limitation here, ReportBuilder limits requests to 365 periods depending on the granularity, whether it be hourly, daily, weekly, etc. This restriction is in place to ensure reliable performance from the backend. We regularly evaluate these restrictions as the platform improves and evolves, but we do not foresee any changes in the near future.
Please also note that you can create a request that looks at 365 period with the start date set to early 2014 for example. Thus you can look back at date that are more than 365 days past.
