Allow Admins To Push Calendar Events To All Users

Calendar Events are a very handy way to update all users of issues that impact data. Unfortunately, there is no way in SC15 to push Calendar Events to All users - they need to 'opt-in' to each Calendar Event. And if they don't know they exist, they can't 'opt in'. Admins should be able to set Calendar Events that automatically get pushed to all users, by report suite. Otherwise there is no realistic way to inform my users that something happened that impacted data.

I think this is spot on, was about to post the idea myself, it seems bizzare that the functionality isn't already there especially given that while a simple feature calendar events are incredibly valuable if you have a lot going on in your business all sorts of things can impact data and we spend a fair amount of time having to go back through spreadsheets to find out what the issue was.

Shameless act of self promotion, but this one has 37 promotes already. Can it be considered for a future release???

Great idea and something we'd really like to make use of - admins really should be able to 'push' events to all users, just like bookmarks or dashboards.

Pssst - we're up to 43 promotes here! Can this be included in an upcoming release???

We will bring this up with the engineering team to see if there is something we can do soon. Thanks for the reminder!

This really should be like sharing segment filters or calculated metrics with users.

We actually implemented this a while ago. If you set up a Calendar Event you can now "push" it to all users automatically rather than requiring the user to go and add it manually.
