Adding Number of Days Variable to Custom Calculated Metrics

Perhaps I am missing something, but currently when I attempt to define a new calculated metric in Site Catalyst the standard options presented to me are:

average page depth

average time spent on page

entries

exits

page views

reloads

single access

visits

It would be very helpful in my opinion to add  "number of days" to that preset list.  In particular I am looking to create some very simple month projections.

Ex: (Page Views / Number of Days) * Number of Days in Entire Month.

Thanks

I'd like to add actual report time scale to the calculated metrics. Like being able to calculate with the number of days I've selected for the report displayed or number of weeks if I selected that for granularity.

We really need much more flexibility here. I don't want to have to export every single date into Excel for calculations. I just want to be able to do it all inside Site Catalyst.

How would you expect this to work if you have had a granularity longer than the selected time frame.

e.g. For a 30 day report I want to know how many years.

Would the answer be 1 or 30/365 (0.08).

With the new Approx Count Distinct function, you can now count days within a month and use this metric within another calculated metric.
