Acme Co. is running a Renewal e-mail campaign that is triggered by the Inventor's Club renewal date. They want to make sure that anyone who has received in their Inbox the Renewal delivery within that past two weeks is not targeted by any other delivery. How would they go about configuring this (without using Campaign Optimization, an add-on module for Adobe Campaign).

I was looking through a lead's activity log and noticed he recently clicked a link in one of our emails (which was a link to a landing page), but there was no activity of "visit webpage" in his activity log. I'm confused because if he clicked a link to go to a landing page then why isn't there an activity that identifies he visited the webpage? Anyone have any idea?

Apparently Marketo is now requiring ID elements for mktEditable class tags. I added id="content1" and id="content2" to the two TD tags that I needed to be mktEditable. This apparently fixed the problem. This was not an issue before, as of last July and August of this year.-Canaan

Exercise 2, Part 4, Step 1:How do I get the transition arrow to generate from the List Update icon to the End box?

How do we handle this?  IN order to get our program reports more accurate, we have to have Acquisition Programs.  There are alot of  records without an acuqitions program in our Marketo database.  Is there a way to see trends of how these were created?  Are we able to go backwards and add leads to certain acquisition programs?

I want to share weekly leads with the Sales team by sending them an excel of new people who engaged since the previous week. I can do this easily. However, they want to be able to look at the Activity Log of each lead without logging in. I swear I was able to do this once before but cannot figure it out.How can I share a lead's activity log with someone who does not have a login? Is there a way?

Hi, In smart list I put a filter "Engagement Program Stream Changed" Program is 'My Engagement Program' New Stream is 'Stream 2' Date of Activity in past 30 days What does this mean ?

In flow : https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000LAVpCAO  it means action to change engagement program stream (transition lead between streams) but in filter (in smart list tab) what does it mean? Thanks

I see that someone asked this question last August, but the link to the guide provided was broken, and still is, and no one followed up with all the responses stating so. There are tiny little images used all over Marketo. Little by little we've figured them out, but should we really have to? Shouldn't there be a guide for these images/icons? I couldn't find anything in Help Articles, Discussions, or Resources. I didn't dare look in Ideas for fear of finding it there, meaning this vital guide doesn't exist yet. And this isn't limited to Marketing Activities, although the current image/icon I can't figure out is there. There's no general Category.   Thanks!

I pushed out an email yesterday morning and went into the smart campaign to check out the results. I looked at the "Email" tab, to see an overview (# sent, #delivered, % delivered, etc) and then navigated to the "results" tab to see each individual person that received the email. I noticed that when I counted up each individual with an activity type of "email delivered" the # did not match the "#delivered" in the Email tab. Can anyone help explain why?

My colleague thought of an interesting idea: Create a generic "tradeshow" landing page that asks the lead how they got to it with a drop down list of various tradeshows. Based on the tradeshow they choose, we will show them a landing page for that tradeshow after they hit "submit". So however they answer the question will determine which landing page we show them. Does anyone konw if this is possible?

Sorry everyone. I am behind. I got the pop-up box below and I was not sure how to respond. Did anyone else have this?

Again I am behind the curve but I am wondering if anyone else got the following error. The question then is how do we give write permission to Campaign? I would assume this is an issue when Campaign writes an output to a server.

I just started using the Social Button on a landing page for webinar program. (it appears on the registration confirmaton page). I was able to identify the 3 people that are listed as Socially Acquired. However what I'd like to really know is how many people actually registered as a result of the social button share? The 3 people did not register. Some explanation would be helpful to me. Thanks!

What is the right answer? I thought it is “Create a new delivery”, but it was marked as Incorrect.  Also, should it say “right” instead of “write” in the question itself?Question 3Select the appropriate responseThe PREPARE DELIVERIES named write lets you do what? Analyze a delivery Compose delivery content Send a proof Create a new deliverySubmit ResetBullet 3 :Campaign managers can insert and edit folders => in Campaign Management only? It seems that Administrators can do this without any restriction. All of the following statements about folders are correct, except... Access rights are propagated to sub-folders by default Contents can heterogeneous, i.e. of different data types Campaign managers can insert and edit folders Entities can be dragged and dropped from one folder to another

Did anybody get the below features to work? My histogram was completely static.

We recently launched our first email campaign through Marketo, and I'm a little conufsed by the results report I downloaded from the program control panel. I see 2155 emails sent and delivered, with 511 soft bounces. However, in every instance of the soft bounces, that email address was previously logged as having the email delivered. So for instance, recipient xxxx@domain.com has the following activities logged: Send Email - 2014-06-06 11:00:07 Email Delivered - 2014-06-09 11:01:13 Email Bounced Soft - 2014-06-09 11:02:28 What would cause the email to first be logged as delivered and then moments later logged as soft bounced?

Can you export a report with a Date field formatted n MM/DD/YY or a similar date formating for easy sorting in Excel?

Hi, does anybody know what time zone the marketo certification exam (online proctored) testing center uses? I am from Singapore and I want to make sure that when I choose Friday, 10:30AM is morning my time and not PDT night time. Thank you!

Trying to implement my first Forms 2.0 on a page outside of Marketo.. however when I add the form embed code to my landing page (just flat HTML right now) - I get the following error. Error loading form: Object {error: true, errorCode: 400, message: "Subscriber '751-HBN-596' is not valid"} Any clue on what going on here? My Marketo instance is certainly valid and alive!

Hi there!I've been skimming the discussions pages trying to see how you can view the results of a landing page -- as in who filled it out, the info they entered, etc. It's probably simple, I'm just not seeing how to go about doing this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello all, I’m trying to find a way for leads who are currently in an engagement program not to receive a cast if they already consumed the call to action (document). Let say  a member downloads the document featured in one of our program emails. I don't want him to receive this cast (email). I looked over the KB but couldn’t find something about that. How would I do that?

Hey folks,do you think there is any common best practice of suppressing purchased lists from emails? We started to buy small lists and the point is in sending 1 "personal" email on behalf of sales rep to each of them. We don't want them to get batch emailings until they perform a significant activity, e.g. go to our website and download stuff. All I can think of is creating triggered campaigns that would set Marketing Suspended as "true" for new leads created by list upload, and "false" in case they show their interest. But maybe there are better ideas?

Hey gang,I've just been notified that my company is way over its data storage limit in Salesforce. A huge amount of space is being taken by Marketo creating records. From our IT manager:The problem is the 1.7 million Task records – a vast majority of which are created by Marketo, saying “I sent prospect X mass mailing Y” Have any of you dealt with this? Do you regularly clean these tasks out? Should I be concerned about losing any sales intelligence that might help my sales team? Thanks for any information you can provide!
