Hi all, I am a newbie to Adobe DTM (Dynamic Tag Management) and have not done any kind of training related to it. However, I have been given a requirement to integrate DTM with AEM 6. I Have some requirements related to Omniture where certain events on the website are tracked and that information needs to be sent to DTM. I have followed steps described on this blog (http://blogs.adobe.com/aemtutorials/2013/07/24/customize-the-client-context/) to customize the client context by creating a new session store and storing some sample data inside it. Now, next part is to retrieve this data into DTM which I am completely unaware on how to do. What is need to achieve in particular is to create a new data element as shown in the screenshot below and write some custom java script to access the data stored inside the client context (which is present in the session store) as explained in the blog mentioned. [img]dtm.jpg[/img]I have no idea on how to integrate DTM with AEM instance and how to get h

We have a requirement that when a page is activated, a version that is subsequently created should increment its id's whole number. So for example a page on version number 1.13, when activated, should create a version 2.0. Looking through the API there doesn't appear to be any way to control the actual version number, just the label. If we set the label to 2.0, obviously the next version manually created would be 1.15 because the label doesn't effect the actual id. Is there any way within CQ/JCR to change this number? Thanks

Hi Team,If we are submitting a page through workflow and then changing the page property. After that if we check in INBOX , workflow getting aborted once changing the values. But in other instance , we are getting proper output. In logs we can see some replication event is triggering when updating the pages and aborting the workflow. Please let me know in which configuartion we need to check the valuse or in replication agent.?

Hello everyoneI was wondering if someone would be so kind to tell me how I can change the time frame of the daily tar compaction process (the default 2:00 - 5:00 does not fit our requirements) in AEM6/TarMK/CRX3. Since repository.xml does not exist anymore I assume it can be done by some cfg file in the crx-quickstart/install folder. However I have not found any source on the internet that provides information about this. I also checked the Maintenance section (touch UI) and web console JMX but no luck there either.Any help is highly appreciated.Cheers

Please could someone explain what is the optimal command line settings to use when launching the server in debug mode for use on a Mac. RegardsClive Stewart

I'm following these instructions on Creating your first AEM Service using an Adobe Maven Archetype projectWhen I reach the mvn command to generate the archetype: mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=com.day.jcr.vault -DarchetypeArtifactId=multimodule-content-package-archetype -DarchetypeVersion=1.0.0 -DarchetypeRepository=adobe-public-releases -eI get the following error[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] BUILD FAILURE [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] Total time: 5.424 s [INFO] Finished at: 2015-01-27T09:51:35-05:00 [INFO] Final Memory: 11M/81M [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.2:generate (default-cli) on project standalone-pom: The desired archetype does not exist (com.day.jcr.vault:multimodule-content-package-archetype:1.0.2) -> [Help 1] org.apache

I believe the underlying structure of how workflows are stored have been changed from CQ 5.5.We are looking to upgrade a CQ 5.3 instance to 5.6.1. An inplace upgrade would automatically upgrade workflows. But we are having issues getting the inplace upgrade to work and so are looking at migrating to AEM 5.6.1 by packaging up content/apps/etc in 5.3 and importing into 5.6.1Are there any issues with doing this or do we have to create the workflows from scratch? Is there any documentation on how the workflow model has changed?Thank you

Hi All, If user publishing a page , looks like it is being published as administrator instead of his own user. Please let me know what might be the cause

I have a node under etc, with sling:vanityPath property. It works perfectly in 5.6 but gives 404 in AEM 6.0. From Sling resource resolver, it gives "NonExistingResource, path=/mypath" in 6.0. Gets resolved in 5.6

Hi,Am doing the integration of AEM & Hybris. I've followed the steps provided to import outdoors data from hybris as given in the adobe docs.It works fine via defaul hybris importer UI console. Issue:When i try to import products via REST api call through a code in AEM for products we configured, it has thrown access denied. Even the direct access from browser https://localhost:9002/rest/v1/outdoors/products/export/full throws access denied error. I got the access tocken via password grant & configured in browser authorization header as well. I think the default hybris connection pass username & password & get the token, does the same authorization via OAuthHandler class.Would like to understand how the http://localhost:4502/etc/importers/hybris.html able to import products as it's using the same DefaultHybrisConnection & OauthHandler class. Also, what needs to be done to resolve this Access denied issue for password grant.ThanksMani

Can anyone help me on the definition of resultFtechSize [1] Vs p.limit (in JCR query builder)I am trying to get maximum 100 hits from each query hence I thought p.limit should be set to 100. However I am not sure what the value should be for resultFetchSize. Should it be higher or lower or doesn't have influence on query results?Explanation on this is much appreciated.[1] http://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/Search
