What does it mean by Pending Approval in GoToWebinar?

I'm wondering how you some of you deal with this sort of situation:We want people to fill out a form at our booth at a tradeshow. I want to set this up as a campaign so that if you fill out a booth, your SFDC status changes to visited booth. I want this information right away so it can be sent over to our sales team.When we get the list from the show later and tradeshow attendees are uploaded, I don't want those who visited my booth's SFDC campaign member status to change.Thoughts? Hi guys.I've set up a form which has the 'standard' form fields (like name, email, address etc).  However at the bottom of this form I have a further 2 check boxes which are 'Contact me now' and 'I have a project'.  Now depending on what they tick I want an auto responder to send - one per check box.  This is the easy bit!The problem is, if the lead ticks both boxes they'll get 2 emails - how do I stop this happening?  If they tick both boxes I want them to ONLY recieve the 'i have a project' follow up email.  Can anyone help?ThanksJuli

For my smart campaign, people should receive the email I’ve created immediately after a specific action occurs, what I understand to be a trigger. However, this action, which comes from our Microsoft Dynamics CRM, is classified as a filter. Is there an easy way for me to convert the filter to a trigger?

I'm trying to implement an accordion drop down, but everything seems to point that I'll need to create a new template that has the proper jQuery or CSS styles included in them.  I don't think there's a way around this (but would love to hear it if there was!), but my main question is whether either of these options below will be editable on a page by dropping an HTML element instead of hard-coding the template with all the content as well.I've narrowed it down to these 2 options, but if there's an eaiser one out there I'm open to that as well!CSS: http://tympanus.net/codrops/2012/02/21/accordion-with-css3/jQuery: http://jqueryui.com/accordion/#defaultWhen implementing the jQuery option, it doesn't work when I drop the DIV codes in an HTML element -- it all just comes out as text.Any advice out there?  THANKS!!!

Hi all,I've been setting up a live event (roadshow) for the first time, and feel like I'm almost there, but have one final stumbling block.I want leads to be able to click a link in an email, go to a landing page, and submit a form to RSVP and let us know if they can attend or not. I'm struggling to figure out how the RSVP field in the form should work. I want to have a Yes/No dropdown. If they select Yes, it should change their Program Status to 'Registered'. If they RSVP No, it should change their Program Status to 'Declined' (which is a Roadshow status that I've created).My question is how do I make the connection between the field and the program status? I don't want to have to create a field for every event we do, but I'm also struggling to see how a single field could work across multiple events. I need to set it up in a way that will allow me to clone programs, and will allow leads to RSVP to more than one event, possibly with different responses, without it messing up their pro

I understand that Marketo marks all new leads who receive FtaF emails as unsubscribed.  But what if those recipients are already leads in our DB and have already opted-in - is Marketo marking them as unsubscribed as well?  I sure hope not.But if so, would a solutions be to have a trigger campaign always listening for when a FtaF is sent an email (although, I haven't determined how to listen for that in a smart list yet).  And then if lead source IS NOT FtaF (meaning, they're already in our DB), "change data value" of Unsubscribed to FALSE?  I just tried this, but "lead source" isn't something that you can select when building a smart list.

Hi, we use the double div hack to build responsive landing pages.  Our marketing team was interested in using Marketo's social media icons feature in some of our landing pages.  The only way I have seen to implement this is to drag the social media feature on to the landing page inside the landing page builder. Since we do not use absolute positioning, is there another way to insert social media icons.  Is there a Javascript API that I don't know about.    I can change to css positioning to fixed but I would like to have the buttons within the document flow.   Anyone else run into this issue?  Thanks-John

We have some forms that only collect email address. All leads are automatically pushed to SFDC and since Last Name/Company are required, they are automatically set to "NEEDS INFO". When a lead fills in the next form, they are now seeing the ugly "NEEDS INFO" in the pre-populated fields.I do not want to turn off pre-population becasue in most cases the values are correct. However, I would like to be able to clear the field if it contains "NEEDS INFO".I tried this Javascript but it isn't working. Any ideas why or how I can do this? We want to have a URL (page X) that immediately redirects to our homepage in order to track visitors coming from a specific place. Even though page X and our homepage both have the Marketo munchkin tracking code, it appears that Marketo isn't able to track visitors to page X because of the redirect. For example, if a lead visits page X and gets redirected to our home page, Marketo will only show that the lead visited our homepage, NOT page X. I contacted support and there doesn't seem to be a workaround, but wanted to check here and see if anyone else has encountered this problem (and found a solution). Hi,This doesn't make sense to me.  Three different ways of looking at a report provides three different numbers.Here's how the numbers are reported in an Analytics Email report.  The highlighted email shows 155 sends.Here's how it looks in the Dashboard for the program. This shows 272 delivered.And finally, I look at the Members.  This shows 192 people received the email (and I deduped to make sure there weren't extras):Which of these numbers is correct and why are they all so vastly different?

We are working on our new website which is on drupal.  We are using a module on the drupal platform to bring over the data from  our webforms into Marketo. We are using one form for all our content with one difference being that we have a different field value for Marketing Detail which we want to populate. This field will drive the separate programs for each peice of content. Please see script below. I've checked the field api name and it is  Marketing_Detail__c . Currently the value for Marketing Detail (in this case:fact sheet nuix collector  suite) is nt coming over to Marketo. I have a client who is running the same webinar at 2 different times on the same day through GoToWebinar. The invitation offers people the choice of times. So far not problem. I simply created 2 webinar programs and a program external to both that handles sending the invitation emails. The problem I don't know how to solve is this: they also want to run display ads promoting the webinar on their home page, Facebook, and possibly other places (I don't have the full list yet) - and I was initially planning to capture the source info from the URL with hidden fields on the LP forms. However, the client wants the display ads to list both times. They were thinking we could create an interim LP that just gives a choice of times and from there the lead would click through to the LP for whichever of the two webinars they want. In this scenario, however, by the time the lead reaches the webinar LP, the fact that they originally came from a banner will be lost. Any ideas on what to setup so as to

Hello All,We need to create a link in a email that we can track but we don't want the link to take the person who clicked the link anywhere.  Essentially it is like a click here to let us know you have been in contact with a certain person.  One they click the link we just want an alert to be sent to the rep who sent the email saying that the person clicked the link.Anyone have any ideas?Thanks!

Does anyone know if it's possible to create other Types of Interesting Moments except for Web, Email, and Milestone?

Hi everyone,We will be charging for an upcoming event and I'm not sure how to capture credit card information on the form. Would anyone recommend a partner or a technology we could use?

I have a situation where interesting moments have been created in the past in Marketo, but MSI is not installed in SFDC, so everytime MKTO tries to sync a record that has an interesting moment with SFDC, there is a sync error because the field does not exist in SFDC.The error isINVALID_FIELD: No such column 'mkto_si__Last_Interesting_Moment_Date__c' on entity 'Lead'. The SFDC group is very hesitant to install the MSI package so that is not really an option to solve this issue.  My question is, what are my options to stop the sync errors from happening. Is it possible to clear interesting moment fields in MKTO? (I do not think so)If I have Marketo remove the sales insight package from Marketo, will it remove the associated fields from the lead DB, or will they stay behindIf I have the SFDC group create those fields manually in SFDC without installing the MSI package, will that potentially solve the problem? Hi there,I wonder if someone would be willing to share the way that they set up event programs, particularly use of program tokens. As a relatively new user of Marketo (not sure how long I can keep saying that!) I'm trying to wrap my head around the best way to set our various event programs up. We run a series of live events which all have a very similar structure, and so my hope is to set up one program, which I can then clone for all other events. Through the use of tokens, all assets should be tailored to that specific event. The assets would include a landing page with RSVP form, various invite, follow-up and reminder emails and their associated smart campaigns. I've read the various articles in the community on tokens, and I'm still not 100% on how it all works. It may be I just have to dive in and learn through trial and error, but if anyone can share their experience or point me in the direction of resources they've found helpful, I'd be very appreciative.Thanks, James

Hi community, I'm just diving into Marketo and am setting up the folder structures within it. I set it up this way because in the reporting I want to group by campaigns, then emails as such:And show up like this in the report:  Recruiting. Century 21 2015.02-02 Not EarningAre there any drawbacks to having nested program folders like this? Also, with the smart list you're not able to see the graphs and pie charts of the results like how you are in an email program. Is there a way to do this with the results of the smart list or within the reporting tab?What are best practices? Is it better to just clone an email program for each batch sent instead of creating individual smart lists to send to target group? Will having my folder structure like this hinder reporting in the future? Also, in the reporting tab, is there a way to roll up or group different campaigns?

At the bottom of the Leads tab is a Facebook icon and its hover text is 'Push to Facebook'.  When I click the Facebook button, a 'You must add Facebook in Admin > Launchpoint' is displayed.  I've searched for this in the Community, but can't find any help articles about it.  Does anyone know what this does?
