Hi experts!I would like to develop a component that renders some text and two images. I’m getting as a reference the ‘foundation/components/image’ component to render the images, using the ‘com.day.cq.wcm.foundation.Image’ class (see at [1]), like:… Image image = new Image(resource); … <% image.draw(out); %> …I can render my component with one image, and it works fine. But I don’t know how to add the second one.For the first image, I’ve added, in the compoment dialog, a ‘cq:Widget’ of xtype=’html5smartimage’ (as the ‘foundation/components/image’). For the second image, I should add a second html5smartimage widget, but the properties of both widgets will collide.I’ve tried to change the values of properties of the image (./imageCrop, ./filename, ./fileReference, etc.), adding a prefix (./imagenPrincipal/imageCrop, ./ imagenPrincipal/filename, ./ imagenPrincipal/fileReference, etc.). But then the image is not rendered, because the ./imagenPrincipal node in /content/… doesn’t contai

We have a requirement of pushing the CQ page to two different locations in publisher i.e.the page in CQ5 - content/site/page1 should be replicated to content/site-test/page1 and then to content/site/page1 in same publisher. We also dont want to create a copy of page1 in authoring i.e. we dont want to create content/site-test/page1 at Author to avoid duplicates at authoring instance.Is there a way (using APIs or otherwise), replicate a page in authoring on two different location (one usual default location at publisher and another one in a different root node).? Hi Experts, I have created a custommultifield which consist of checkbox, textfield and textarea. custommultifield can have maxitems 3.I am facing problem while accessing the value of checkbox from component jsp.I am doing this from jsp: <c:set var="checkBox" value="${properties.parsysValue}" scope="request"></c:set>/*check box*/<c:set var="learnmore" value="${properties.learnmore}" scope="request"></c:set>/*text field*/<c:set var="findlocation" value="${properties.findlocation}" scope="request"></c:set>/*Text area*/Whenever i do a add(+) in edit mode of component i get valkue's of textfield and textarea as a ARRAY and iterating over this array i could fetch the values for all three textfields and textarea. but this does not work with checkbox. i do not get an array of checkboxes. What i get is the string value of checkbox that is checked.Even I changed checkbox to select(dropdown) but the problem that I face now is that dropdown does not retain value

In CQ 5.61 I have to create a workflow where three different participants have to approve something (in parallel) to advance to the next step. If any of them don't take an action after some time the workflow have to continue.So what I did was: add an 'And Split' step with three branches, each branch has a participant step and those participant steps has configure 'Auto Advance' as timeout handler with an specific time (for example 1h).The problem is that CQ execute the timeout handler only in the last branch, but not in the first two. So if none of them take an action only the third participant step advance but not the others.Is this a bug in CQ? and, is there any other way to implement that use case?Thanks, Claudio.

Hi all, Any design directions/pointers on how to build a anonymous "like" kind of a component on CQ. I see that voting component does similar but requires authenticated user and also 1 vote per user. I have been looking at the code/design of these out-of-the-box social components but some directions from the group will be of great help.  One of the simple thought is to see if I can have a Like component whose POST increments a node property by 1 and displays the results, but the negative I see is to make this work on a multi-publisher.  Appreciate any thoughts/experiences.Also if you know of any component available on the package share/other libraries which could potentially meet this use case?Thanks!

Is there a posibillity to define which components are allowed to place into the Page ? I mean that i could define in the sourcecode of the template, which components the user can use so that i dont have to use anymore the design mode and the Paragraph System for that.

Is there anyway to set the wcmmode specific to a group or user?  Basically have a user that their wcmmode is always disabled so they can preview the site but not edit it?  but still have other users as content authors that can make edits?

Hi ,Today I follow this document "http://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-aem-multifield-components.html" and created once custom component with custom widget. I have few doubts in this doc .1.What is the purpose of using rtePlugin node ?2.Edit behavior is necessary for dropping the image from content finder to web page or dialog,without this editorial behavior  dropping is working fine .3.When using the custom created xtype with fieldConfig node in dialog am getting this exception"uncaught exception: cannot create Component: xtype 'mytextbutton' not found and no default supplied "? (ClientLib folder is configured)Please suggest me a solutions.Thanks in advance.

Talking about migration cq5. I'm upgrading the cq5.4 to cq5.6.1, is necesary upgrade the dispatcher version too?Where I can find documentation related to upgrade dispatcher?Have the same problem with java version, for cq5.4 using java 1.6.x to upgrade to cq5.6.1. is necesary to upgrade to java 1.7.x? Regards,

Hi,I want to generate a SiteMap related with the user's privileges. Then, I have thought to check the privileges of each page (they will change in order to the user logged) and performance an action depending the privilege. I don't know why my code is throwing AccessControlManager throws a PathNotFoundException. Any idea?To clarify: the first time that I call the AccessControlManager, it works as expected. Been getting a lot of unclosed sessions in our jcr logs (using 5.4) and our publish servers have stopped responding a couple of times recently when hit with a burst of lame php hack attempts. The speed of them is what I think is doing us in, in combination with the session errors in particular, but also with some component errors we're getting as well. There was a heap error reported that took one of them down most recently. Am in the process of cleaning all that up (sessions, components) but was hoping for some insight on which is the more likely culprit in the downtime. Have blocked php requests at apache now, but was also wondering if there is any other mitigation in CQ that could/should be active. Will be reviewing the security docs again in the meantime as well.

Hi there, we are designing a new website (abc.com) which needs to provide multi language capabilities as well as share some content with another unrelated website (xyz.com), both running on CQ5. The current idea is that we would use Multi Site Manager for both requirements. So we would set up a blueprint (master site) for abc.com with multiple live copies for the different languages. The users would never directly access the blueprint but only the individual language specific live copies.For content sharing with xyz.com, it has been suggested to also use MSM, but just for the pages in question. As I am not an expert on CQ5 and/or MSM, I would like to know the following:1. Is it possible for one site (consisting of multiple pages) to refer to multiple blueprints ? My understanding is that this is possible as long as no single asset (i.e. page) refers to more than one bluprint. So page 1 in abc.com/en-us could be a livecopy of the master blueprint of abc.com while page abc.com/common/sha

We are trying to setup a Forum template using the Forum component in CQ5.4. I seem to have got this working, but one issue is that the Create Topic "box" appears in the published page. Is it possible to ensure that this create box does not appear on the published page. I have found if you do create a topic it replicates back to Author, but then the forum component then displays an error message, so this functionality doesnt seem to work any way. I assume all creation should be carried out from the author instance any way? Or is this some functionality that just doesnt workThank you

HI, I have to perform search on cq folder for images and display matched images to the user.I write code in .net c#, and I use to get the contents from the folder using path likehttp://localhost:port/content/customers.xml  using this I access all the images in a particular folder named customers  .Later, I use some xpath kind of stuff to search the xml file , But, this takes a lot of time, I am looking for alternative ways. Is it possible to query cq directly from asp.net ?Is it possilbe to send request like http://localhost:port/content/customers.xml?query to filter the images please suggest other ways to boost performance

I want to update the title of an already installed 3rd party workflow. Whenever I do so, i got the following error while saving - Could not save changes. Received 409 (Conflict) for saving changes in workspace crx.default. Unable to perform operation. Node is checked-in.
