Hi all, I am using CURL command to create pages in CQ. This page node has property which takes Multi Value. So in CRX I can see its type is coming as "String[]" instead of just "String". When I use CURL command by default CURL sets everything to "String" . I'm wondering how most people handle this use case:I have my Blueprint site in English language. I have a Live Copy of that Blueprint site in another language. On the Live Copy, I've had to disable the inheritance on most components to translate the language. The author makes a change to the Blueprint site and does a roll out but the site owner of the Live Copy does not know because of the disabled inheritance.  What's the best way to handle this? Do we need a custom workflow that tells the Live Copy site owner a certain item has been translated on their page? I know there's a translation workflow out of the box but I can't see how you'd make it notify each live copy site owner.

What is the best way to get a page out of a workflow once the workflow instance itself creates a 500 error in the workflow inbox? Like resetting the page to a state without assigned wofklow.

Hi,Though we created custom i18n folder under apps folder with all the strings for different locales, translated strings were not getting picked up from that dictionary. Rather i18n is first checking in libs/wcm/core/i18n folder and if it didnt find there then it is checking in custom one. For eg: "Submit" is the string which we are putting in new dictionary (i.e: apps/<project_name>/i18n) and we have given some value for it in german locale(i.e: de). But in page under german locale the translated string is getting picked up from libs/wcm/core/i18n than from apps folder.Any suggestions please.Thanks,Pradeep

Hi,To avoid Java Out of Memory errors and to preserve the integrity of our repository, we elected to enforce -Dcrx.memoryMaxUsage=90 in our start script.  This effectively shuts down the repository when the ResourceMonitor detects that the mean memory usage is over 90%.  We wanted to find out what caused the memory usage to exceed 90% so we had a cron job scheduled at every half-hour to monitor the memory usage by querying the /system/console/memoryusage page and getting the total memory score.  Surprisingly, the memory score seems to be consistently in the range of 50-60%. If the memory usage score is healthy, why would ResourceMonitor detects mean memory usage that is over 90%?  What is being called by ResourceMonitor?  None of the error, request or access logs suggest any activities that would cause memory usage to exceed the defined thresholds.  Any advice?Thank you.

Hi,we have a registration workflow that has two steps:Send email to adminSend email to userThe problem is that sometimes the mail server doesn't like the user's email address and refuses to send the email, throwing an exception in that workflow step. In the logs I can see the exception and I can see that AEM restarts the entire workflow (also sending emails to the admin). My question now is, why does AEM restart the entire workflow and not just the step that failed?Thanks,Paul

I have set up a series of custom workflow steps on AEM's DAM functions, that through OSGi link AEM assets to objects in a PIM system.What I would like is an information report to be sent back and displayed within AEM once assets have been created/updated/deleted in the PIM. So it would display a report in a similar way to the product importer wizard, to show details of the assets that have been processed. The report could be sent as a notification to a user once the workflow is complete perhaps, but at the moment we are only notified on workflow failure, is there a way to extend this?Can you advise how to send back information to the user to show error messages and 'success' messages from an OSGi service in a workflow? Hello,  Currently I'm not able to download pdf documents from docs.adobe.com.I have read a document where in http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/deploy/configuring/offloading.html.I wanted to download it so that I clicked on "Download as PDF" on above page but it does not work.Just blank page displayed and nothing happened.It looks like something wrong on the server. Please advise.Thanks

Hi,Wanted to check if there are any features/advantages available when we do the Sitecatalyst custom implementation(OOTB) in the CQ Sites instead of doing the traditional Sitecatalyst implementation.My Thoughts:- If we are doing basic implementation, then the OOTB Sitecatlyst CQ integration would be helpful and this will save some time for both developer & as well as for analytics person.- If we go for custom implementation, then it will take some extra time for analytics ppl to create the node for that sitecatalyst variables and map those variables in the CQ Framework.          - But, if we go for traditional sitecatalyst implementation in the CQ sites, we can use the sitecatalyst variables directly in the page level instead of mapping & creating the nodes and doing all other stuffs.Any thoughts?? Thanks,Muthalagu

Using this document http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/wcm/campaigns.html I've created a Teaser per the instructions under "Creating a Teaser Experience" to step 5.  Next step is "Creating a Touchpoint..." including this part -- "Add a Teaser component (available in the Personalization section of sidekick) in the required position."  I don't see this in the sidekick but I do see /libs/cq/personalization/components/teaser and /libs/cq/personalization/components/teaserpage in crx.  Can anyone advise how to proceed?thanks,tony
