I'd like to use the JCR API to access a node underneath a folder.I am here: /content/dam/Agility project/agility_products/wm/wmap/wmapsp (this is a sling:orderedFolder)but I want to point here instead: /content/dam/Agility project/agility_products/wm/wmap/wmapsp/wmapsp.jpg (this is a dam:Asset)So I want to go one level down from the orderedFolder to the dam:Asset just underneath it. How to I do that through the JCR API please?Thanks.

Hi, When we try to insert the following HTML markup inside the RTE field in source edit mode, the RTE strips off both the <style> tag and "id" attribute of "div" tag from the inserted HTML <style>#tp-left-menu {height: 489px !important;}</style><div id="tp-left-menu">... I am not sure if this is the expected behavior, if it is, is there a way to override this behavior? On the same lines, is there a support available to configure TinyMCE RTE in CQ Environment: Adobe CQ6 Beta Thanks, Prabu

Actually, I want to personalize my welcome page based on specific users. For example, if myself logged in with my credential, I shall only see the DAM admin link in my welcome page. Running AEM6 SP2, Oak 1.0.11We have people directory pages which list people by last name alphabetically. I see log messages about node traversal, and want an optimized query. We will end up with maybe 7000 people spread across 120 or so departments... the error message occurs when a request hits the people directory pages. I'm attempting to follow indexing documentation... and it seems like the index should be setup- see attached screenshot from crxde. Hi,In my page we r trying to call bing map by using bing map ajax v7.0 which works fine on mozilla/chrome but the ma doesn't show upon IE-9/10/11and even when we search the page on mobile version in windows phone nokia lumina 1020 win 8.1 it doesn't work fine. (like the scroll from left to right doesn't work )Is there any solution for this? Will this work or not?

I am able to find the old architecture of CQ 5.6.1 at the link http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/exploring/architecture-overview.html#JCR%20Content%20Repository But a similar article for AEM6 cannot be found. Even on the main page http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0.html , it is not available . Does anyone know the link to that ?

Does anyone know of any plugin/module that has been developed for CQ to manage and deliver technical content (multi-chapter user documents)? I'm part of a technical writing group who are interested in delivering our technical content through CQ (user guides, protocols, inserts, etc.). We already deliver PDFs, but we see significant opportunity to add value by delivering our documentation in HTML, which will enable us to do a lot more with our content. From what we've seen, the OOB CQ product does not have any default functionality that would suit our needs, so we are currently exploring ways to augment our existing instance to provide an option for technical document delivery.Just to be clear, we are soley focused on delivery of the content at this point. We are not interested in authoring in CQ as we will author and import our content from another CMS. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi ,I am having issue with RTE component , i am using for my application. Sometimes it comes in the middle of the text which written inside RTE , sometimes, it just went missing, It is a very strange behaviour. This is not happening for all the pages but for some of them .Please advise.

We're seeing a recurring issue in Author (AEM 6, SP2, Oak 1.0.11) when a new workflow is started on a resource it fails and spits out an exception. This seems to happen every couple of days. Previously we've been able to run TarMK online compaction, but today that does not seem to be helping. It doesn't matter what workflow it is, Request for Activation, Request for Deactivation, DAM Asset Update, etc. All workflows return an error similar to the log snippet attached. Any ideas on how to resolve this and prevent it from happening again would be appreciated.

Could you please let me know if there feasibility to create infografics in CQ ?As per my knowledge , it requires tool to create infographics as these tools will be having multiple options and its not feasible to create component to include all possibilities/combinations what it require to create infographics.Please let me know your views on this.Thanks,Hari

Hi,In search tab of damadmin there are File Types and Tags. If I expand the Images or anything in file types it is opening all the sub options under it which is annoying. Same problem with Tags. If I expand any option in Tags or File Types it should open one level at a time which looks good. Can some one please help me on this.Thanks,Srinivas.

Hi, Does anyone know please a way I can submit form data from an AEM form to the CRXDE repository but instead of creating a new node each time I submit new information, I want to over write the previous node and save the data on the same node each time. The reason for this is that I need to access the last CRXDE node properties in Java using the Node class and even after trying to use the NodeIterator (e.g NodeIterator.nextNode()) I can't seem to find a logic that returns the last node.Thank you for your help.Famruch

Hi, We are facing the issue where we have used iparsys to create global header and footer. But we don't want the edit option and "drag components or assets here" in the child pages. Is there any way we can control this for all the users or the particular group of users. I want to disable the UI on the child pages and for a particular group of users.Thanks,Divya

Hi,I am getting below error when i try to access the custom page createdCaused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.servlet.jsp.PageContext not found by <custom package> [502]        at org.apache.felix.framework.BundleWiringImpl.findClassOrResourceByDelegation(BundleWiringImpl.java:1550)Same error is repeated for all java classes. I mean i created a component and calling java class from component jsp. I am passing currentNode, pageContext etc... from jsp to java class. There are no issues with compilation. But when i access the page with above component getting no class def found for all classes. Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.jcr.Node not found by <custom package> [505]        at org.apache.felix.framework.BundleWiringImpl.findClassOrResourceByDelegation(BundleWiringImpl.java:1550) Appreciated for any help
