What would be the best way to do the following:1. A drop-down list with COUNTRYies. The list of countries are in json format, retrieved from a web service.2. When I trying using the image component with any other components like menu component, the image used in the image component is not getting aligned.Attaching the screenshot.Could anyone suggest how to proceed further to correct the image alignment.Regards,Swathi.

Is it possible to show a directory file tree through a custom site in AEM?IE. showing the file tree of the DAMI was wondering if you can do this like you can on a normal server by configuring the .htacess file but wouldn'tknow where to start with AEM. Thanks!

Could you help analyse why we have urls formed like this below "www.www.aaa.com/xxx/aaa/watch123p.html" (twice www)this happening  in AEM page ?any idea?*    AEM pages after published am getting this twice www.*     this happening only for Japanese site.  

I'm getting following error on AEM 6.1 server startup. Hi All,    I am facing a replicating issue in all DEV,QA and PROD servers for only groups(even tried with Administrator credentials). Hi All,Can we restrict workflow, not to appear on selected page or node for some user and to appear the same workflow on other page for the same user.For. e.g. When we right click on page , select workflow, I get list of workflows to select. My requirement is not to show some workflow for certain page or Node for some user. I know there is Access control List (ACL) functionality, but this in workflow case applicable for group or user based restriction. Like for example, go to etc/workflow/model/<model_name>   : define the ACL which will be based on User/group restriction only not on page/node based.  Hope I am able to explain correctly.Can we define somewhere list of pages/node for which workflow gets disabled for certain user ?Thanks !

Hi, I have been trying to upgrade CQ 5.5 to AEM 6.1 in place using the steps in http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/deploy/upgrade.html#par_title_1963308877I step 4 ,  migration from CRX2 to OAK completes successfully,  however when I start the service with the following command  java -jar aem-quickstart-6.1.0.jar -r author,crx3,crx3tar,nosamplecontent it fails to show the login screen with the message : " AuthenticationSupport service missing. Dear All, I have a requirement where I need to read cq:lastModified property which is a date in the format -  "2015-06-17T15:43:16.352+05:30". Now I have read that date in a string format but when I try to add this date to SolrDocument field by parsing it using a SimpleDateFormat#parse, its giving an exception which says - Unparseable date: "2015-06-17T15:43:16.352+05:30". Can someone please help me to parse this date so that I can add this to SolrDocument. SolrDocument date format is - "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss'Z'" Thanks,Ravi

Hi, We are upgrading to AEM 6.1 from 6.0. We have a custom authentication handler for our application. After upgrading publish, we are facing issue while logging into the crxde, package manager. On investigating, we found that login-token is not getting generated in case of 6.1.Login works fine with crx/explorer and once I'm logged into crx/explorer, I am able to login to crx/de and package manager as well. Any idea, what could be the reason here? What is the difference in authentication in AEM 6.0 and 6.1?

Hi guys,We met a problem and can't figure it out for quite a while. We built a mobile site by using AEM. We have a DPS app which looks as same as mobile site. Now, we need to synchronize the mobile site content with DPS app so that every time when marketing team upate mobile site contents(images, texts, etc), the new contents can be upated in DPS app automatically as well. I wonder if there is a convenient way to do that? We noticed some articles mentioned the integration of AEM and DPS, but they all talks about AEM media publish and DPS folios which seem not to be our scenario.Any helps? Really appreciated.
