I'm hoping to find an index of SPAM laws by country with details on opt-in requirements and email marketing guidelines. Ie. For each country, there'd be an explanation of whether or not opt-in is required before you can email users based in the country. Does anyone know of such a resource? We are in the process of implementing EU cookie privacy directive on the main website and also Marketo landing pages. I've seen some references to Marketo automatically creating the _mkto_trk cookie on form submit if it isn't already there. Can anyone verify if this is true? Just trying to figure out the best way to deal with this situation:- User indicates no tracking  - munchkin.init is not run and _mkto_trk is not set. - On page load, if _mkto_trk is set, it is deleted- Marketo Form 2.0 is submitted and goes to a follow-up page so even if the _mkto_trk is set, it is deleted on page load (per above)Here's the part I'm really asking about:If the Marketo Form 2.0 is shown in a modal or in a lightbox, after submission there is no page load generated. If the cookie is really automatically created, then it needs to be deleted. Would you delete _mkto_trk in an on success handler or is there a better way to manage this?Any tidbits for implementation would be much appreciated!Thanks,Sheila

One of those times where the list is taking a while to export, so I leave the tab open and come back later. Of course I totally forgot about it and closed my browser before downloading the list. Is there a way to view past exports and download them?

Background:I am currently building an email in sandbox that utilizes tokens for dynamic content within a pre-built snippet. This token content is in another language.Issue:When in preview mode, I see the token visible within the snippet and everything looks good. When I send a sample email through the edit mode, the content that should be pulled from the token is incorrect and shows "Contact Sales" in English. However, when I do a send sample in the email preview mode, the correct content is brought into the token using the correct language. Question:Is this normal behavior for the program to show two separate things in edit mode send sample vs. preview mode send sample? Why is it doing this and should it be of concern when developing my email programs?

Hello Marketing Nation. To date, we've been using Marketo for RTP and web lead facilitation. Now, we're returning to Marketo's roots and going to start using email programs. Our first email program is a brand new newsletter - new lists, new content - all New! I'm seeking any and all tips, tricks, ideas, hindsight thoughts, etc... that we should consider as we prepare our first distribution. Even checklists would be great.  I want to make sure we think through all aspects with the marketer before pulling the trigger.Example question I have - uploading lists - is it best to de-dupe this team's list prior to uploading into Marketo, or can it be easily done in Marketo?If any such posts or documents exist, I'd be happy to review. I searched various topics and tried numerous ways to ask the questions I have, but didn't find any basic, start from scratch, type of information for email programs.Thanks in advance.Erica

This is the filter:In more detail, the lead token that I'm trying to use in this filter appears below:The reason I'm trying to filter out this token is that when people use our app, their URL on our website is {lead.APP_domain_name}.kennasecurity.com. An example is if the lead's domain name is TechCorp, their app would be hosted on TechCorp.kennasecurity.com. I'm trying to run a campaign to MQL leads based on leads visiting 4 significant web pages, and if they're using our app, that isn't a significant page.One solution I've thought of is to remove the Munchkin scripts from the branded domains, which would exclude these app uses from Marketo's activity logs. Any thoughts on why only about 70% of my emails sent out?     

In order to do offloading, I copied my author instance of AEM6.1 to a new location to be the work instance.  The author instance is set up to be a cluster, though it's a one-server cluster, so it's the cluster leader.I changed the sling.id of the work instance so I could connect them up via the topology configuration.  This worked perfectly but as a result, activating content stopped working.  As soon as I removed the topology connection, activating content worked again.  It seemed as though the author instance was confused and thought the work instance was supposed to do the activation, though I didn't configure that (I had only configured DAM process offloading).  I suspect the problem is that the cluster ID of both work instance and author instance is the same.  (This is what the granite topology interface /libs/granite/topology/content/view.html shows, anyway).  How do I change the cluster ID of the copied instance I want to use as the work instance? Or, if that is not the problem,

     I would like to add or to make a field "Country" as mandatory field when I create a program in Marketo, in this way this field is mapped with Salesforce and I can rely on this field to modify sharing settings in Salesforce.The idea is, based on the country I would like that in salesforce only users blong to this country can have access to campaigns synced from Marketo.Thank you,

Hey all,I'm trying to have a live smart list that looks for people who have been inactive in the past 180 days. Here's the gist of my list:The problem I have is that the list pulls people who have been created in the past day, or within 180 days. Is there a way I can add a "Lead was Created" filter that contains "on or before 180 days"? I'm getting an error saying it needs to be in dd/mm/yyyy format. Thanks!

Hi there,I created a tag in DTM and I follow instructions in Bing for verify ownership in my site:http://www.bing.com/webmaster/help/how-to-verify-ownership-of-your-site-afcfefc6In DTM I have a Tag Name, a Type (sequential HTML) and the javascript code (same format from the Bing help)When I open my page (it has a redirection) I can see 'Rule fired' and the code is present in a Meta in the Head section, however when I do Verify from Bing, it display an error message. I wonder if the Bing error could be induced/provoked by Adobe DTM. I can't find the reason. Thanks for your help,Francisco

Hi, how can I select more than one segment in the "data extract" tool?

All my calculated metrics that are marked to be percentages are now being displayed as decimals in my freeform tables. The result is a loss in accuracy as you go from 1.55% to 0.02. I'm able to switch the metric to have 4 decimal places of accuracy to get the same view but the result is all other places that use the percentage would now have 2 extra digits. I believe this was a recent change and is there a way to bring it back to a percentage in the freeform tables to mirror all other reports?

Hi! I keep building the same project from scratch, but at some point each time (9th or 10th freeform table insertion) I'm unable to keep widgets in the place where I'm dragging them. I can't adjust size of my tables/visualizations, either. The only way I can accomplish this is by restarting my browser/trying new browsers and dragging 1 or 2 widgets into place before the project fully loads. It has only happened to me since Friday, and my colleagues seem to have the same issue with this particular project. The data is pretty simple, only one metric, one segment, and one dimension in each table. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi,in our app with direct entitlement, the user gets logged out after a few minutes. How can that be changed? Is that in the configuration of the entitlement service or in the settings in the AEMM backend somewhere?Regards,Toni

                Hi, I have a user that is being forced into the Touch UI when she goes into AEM. I have included an image of the process we all use to switch to classic view after logging in. Everyone else is able to remain in Classic view however, this user is forced back into the touch UI once she opens a page to edit. We found a temporary page by page fix but don't know why this is happening and would appreciate any help and ideas for a permanent fix. Thanks!!
