How can I manually import or create opportunity data for leads?
I want to do some testing of smartlists and reports before I connect to any real CRM system.

You can do it via the API (http://developers.marketo.com/documentation/soap/marketo-object-operations/)- that's really your main option without a CRM. If you have a Marketo Sandbox you might also be able to sync that Sandbox to a CRM and populate data that way.

I use http://www.generatedata.com/ all the time! It will generate anything and everyting for you! Just make sure you remember to remove them in the system :) 

You could use a sandbox account but I find that I like this better because I know if something where to happen it wouldent effect anything :)
