Is there a way to see a detailed activity report for a list of leads?

We've recieved some good results for a targeted online display campaign against key accounts.  One of the marketing leaders has asked to see what other sorts of activity exists for each of the leads.  Is there a way to provide a detailed actvity report - perhaps by all interesting moments - that have taken place for each lead (within a single report)?

We're currently migrating our website to Sitecore and they've been demonstrating to us some of the really insightful reports (along with the Sitecore Experience Profile - which I would love to see Marketo have some day!): http://www.sitecore.net/Platform/Profile.aspx

You pull activity data about leads using the APIs:

So I guess the answer is "no" - at least from within the platform or by using RCE?

Two years later and I'm trying to do this exact same thing... I still can't find a way to do it within the platform or RCE.

Jumping on the band wagon.  This is huge hole in the reporting function within Marketo.  If it is available via API is should be available in the platform.

Hey Dan- Any tips for integrating Sitecore with Marketo? Best practices? Do you continue to use Marketo landing pages, or do you embed the form on a Sitecore page?

Today, our integration consists of the following:

  • Munchkin tracking code placed on every page (using Google Tag Manager, which manages our other tags/scripts, such as Google Analytics and Demandbase)
  • Every form on our site is a Marketo embedded form.
  • For every piece of content (and activity) that we want to track across our 23 country sites (and global), we create a dedicated program in Marketo.  We've scaled our programs so that it tracks activity across multiple country sites (we used to create a program per country per content).

We still use Marketo landing pages - primarily where there's a single call-to-action and we need to keep the focus on the CTA.  Especially since our website pages can be quite long with a variety of content to consume (for example, Sitecore | Avanade).  Usually, they're used for PPC and paid advertising campaigns.

We're still working on getting xDB installed/deployed - which will enable us to do more advanced Marketo integration (e.g., bring in Marketo behavioral data for known leads to provide a highly relevant/personalized customer experience).  This will also allow us to start taking advantage of some of the analytics capabilities in Sitecore that aren't available in Marketo.  In fact, we're relying less on the analytics/reporting in Marketo and instead using the API to pull all relevant data (leads, programs, activities, etc.) into a central data warehouse where we have a set of custom dashboards and drill-down reporting - way beyond what RCE can provide.  We're using SQL Server and Power BI for this.

Hi Dan and Rachel,

Another BI product that seems to be doing a good job is Tableau software.

Anyway, using these external product to produce reports on revenue cycle conversion rates or MT attribution will not be that easy, if will required data processing, while it is out of the box with RCE. But for the rest (flexibility, dashboards, quality of graphics, ...), third party products are far superior to RCE indeed.
