Currently, users are able to select multiple projects and are able to Add a Custom Form to selected objects such as Projects with a single Save. (For example... see Add custom form field in screenshot). Users are apparently unable to do this for Programs. When my company wants to roll out a new form for all existing programs we would have to add the form one by one. Please enable the ability to add a Custom form while bulk editing Programs.
I understand I can change the constraints of a task at the individual task level, or at the project level if I use a template. I would like to be able to set the constraint on a project without using a template, and without doing it individually on tasks. Please add this as an enhancement for future release. For example, I'd like to be able to calculate start date, end date, and duration is these three ways: Duration and Start date = calculate End date (existing functionality)Duration and End date = calculate Start date (existing functionality)Start and End dates = calculate duration (requested functionality)
We send a an hours report to our billing department. The data we send is the summary tab that is grouped by hour type, account and project. The issue with this report is that the summary version of the report puts an unnecessary "Sum:", "Count:", "average:" etc before the actual value. Can the description of the value be headed as either a column heading or another column next to it? The unnecessary descriptor exports to excel in the same cell requiring in the accounting team to manipulate the data so that they can get the actual value.
We are looking for customization in sorting/viewing our updates. Specifically, Project > Updates can be hard to navigate through/follow and with multiple email notifications coming through on the same project it is hard to click to the actual thread and sometimes results in scrolling/starting a new thread and missing key details relative to the project. This is especially helpful with multiple teams working on a project at the same time. Looking for a 'sort by' option to be made available on the updates page to custom sort the threads whether by when the thread was started, or to have the most recent update to a thread pull that thread to the top of the page. Workfront has confirmed: When someone comments on an old thread in the updates section of any project, their comment stays at the bottom or their original place, and users need to scroll down to view the comment on the thread. This is working as intended.
In the Environment Configuration area (https://experience.adobe.com/#/@nos/cloud-manager/environments.html/program/XXXX/environment/XXXXX -> Configuration), i't will be nice if we could complement the table with a description field and allow this field to be filterable, this would allow those who have several sites to filter the variables by site (for example). It would also be nice if you could sort the fields alphabetically.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Enhance AssetCompute microservice to accept altText Use-case: Today AssetCompute microservice, helps to upload asset. If the asset has associated `altText` or additional metadata, the code has to wait until processing complete event. And then update `altText` and metadata. If the microservice itself supports updating additional metadata to asset, can help saving second trip to update. Current/Experienced Behavior: No ability to update asset metadata during create Improved/Expected Behavior: API supports ability to update (limited) metadata during create itself. Description - Ability to have a single project linked to a card instead of each individual task linked to a card in Boards layoutWhy is this feature important to you - Would help in visually planning and mapping out projects coming down the pipeline and aid in prioritization and categorizations in a board format which is often easier for our creative team to follow. How would you like the feature to work - Have the ability to have a card be linked to a total project instead of individual tasks or issues. Primarily for planner use and setting priorities.Current Behaviour - n/a - attempting to plan with lists only and outside planning tools like calendars, trello, etc.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Automating the Creation and Edition of Front-End Pipelines via: 1) API https://developer.adobe.com/experience-cloud/cloud-manager/reference/api/#tag/Pipelines and/or 2) aio cli https://github.com/adobe/aio-cli-plugin-cloudmanager Use-case: As DevOps we want to automate the creation and edition of front-end pipelines within Adobe Cloud Manager. This involves setting up a process where pipelines are instantiated without manual intervention whenever new code is ready to be deployed. Without this feature we can't fully automate onboarding new sites and it generates unnecessary costs of manual work. Current/Experienced Behavior: Methods are now available only in CM private backend API (https://cm.adobe.io/). Improved/Expected Behavior: Methods to create and edit front-end pipelines available in public API ( https://cloudmanager.adobe.io) Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM Release: 2024.9.17689.20240905T073330Z Customer-name/Organization name: F. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Adding a warning about the impact of making changes to the "Edit Product Profile" feature Use-case: Changing the Product Profile name to a more user-friendly in the "Edit product profile" feature Current/Experienced Behavior: Changing the Product Profile name to a more user-friendly name impacted the permissions in each environment. Since the group did not exist, certain features became unavailable to users. This issue has been escalated in Case - E-001332537. Improved/Expected Behavior: Add a warning that changing the Product Profile name may impact the actual environment permissions. Alternatively, consider implementing a more robust solution, such as blocking the option to change the profile name and using the display name field (if filled in) to show the name in product/profile listings. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Create a new Java library that does same functions of aio-lib-state like AdobeState.get(), .put(), etc Use-case: This is a suggestion after my previous posts on allowing AssetCompute microservice to accept altText and another problem. Will be nice if AEMaaCS can have a fast state persistence layer (not JCR). aio-lib-state works well leveraging cosmos. Extend its abilities to java world as well. Current/Experienced Behavior: No library similar to aio-lib-state for java. Cant share data between aio-runtime-action and AEM java Improved/Expected Behavior: Extend aio-lib-state to support java SDK. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Confirmation of successful installation in AEM Forms Add-on Use-case: When installing for example AEM Forms 6.5.<version> Add-on for Windows, it would be nice to get a message in the error.log at info level when the installation is done, just as you have in the service pack. Current/Experienced Behavior: There is no message when installation is done, so you have to just wait for the loggs to stay still for a while Improved/Expected Behavior: The developer will see a message of done installation so we will know when the instalattion is done. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: In AEMaaCS can push AEM, Dispatcher, and CDN logs to Splunk, but not the Deployment logs. Use-case: As an Architect/Developer, I would like to receive alerts when new warnings/errors appear in my releases/deployments. The only way to perform proper log analysis and set up alerting in AEMaaCS is through Splunk. Current/Experienced Behavior: The only way to analyze Deployment logs in AEMaaCS is by manually downloading them from Cloud Manager. Improved/Expected Behavior: By pushing the Deployment logs to Splunks, Adobe would enable clients to set up custom queries, reports, dashboards, and alerts to monitor their releases. Description - Similar to the Count, Sum, Ave, etc functions available on columns in reports and charts, add the DCNT (unique count) function for several objects. Why is this feature important to you -There are several scenarios we have and that I have seen across the community where we need UNIQUE count values. Examples:1) Count of unique projects that an assignee has. Pull all open/active assignments then show the count of active (unique) projects for each assignee. It's great to have a count of open assignments per assignee, but management wants to know how many projects each assignee is currently assigned (and no, project users doesn't work because we only want to see the project counted when the person has an active/open task or issue)2) Show UNIQUE assignees on a project report How would you like the feature to work - Similar to the COUNT function but DCNT. We need the UNIQUE counts to show on the groupings, the summary tab, and available in charts. Current Behaviour - DCNT works only in groupings BUT not an option on the drop-down like COUNT, must force in text mode. And even when you have text mode, you can't see the unique count on the summary tab or use it in a chart.
Can a feature be added to make the name of the proof static? Now when a revised proof is added, and if it is a single document or multiple documents to a combined proof the Workfront Proof this is not the case. If a single document is added as a new version, and the user does not edit the document name, the proof is renamed to match the new document. If new documents are added to a combined proof then the proof asks the user to add a name. Once a proof is started the default should be to pick up the previous name automatically. I think there can still be an option to edit the name but that should be secondary.
