I know we should keep the pagenames short. I am working with a 3rd party integration though, so roll with me for a minute. When the screen resolution is small (like when you are not hooked up to a monitor. It's not possible to see the full value of a dimension in a segment. If I need the characters at the end to know if I have the right value, I am a bit stuck at the moment. I have to guess, then pull the report to see if was right. I'd like either a hover state over the top where I can see the entire thing or the ability to put my cursor in the field and scroll to the end.
I would love to have a global Instances metric (as the global Visit metric) or Event Instances metrics available in Calculated Metrics Builder. Here is the business case I would like to share: For our customer, we would like to calculate average values for some events. For example, we set the NUMERIC event “Deposit Amount (EUR)”, but no additional eVar (since there are only 100 eVars available) and no additional counter event. Please see below an example on how “Deposit Amount (EUR)” is calculated for July 12:User 1: Deposit Amount = 100 EURUser 2: Deposit Amount = 200 EURUser 3: Deposit Amount = 300 EURFor July 12, the event “Deposit Amount (EUR)” would show 600. Consequently, I would require the Event Instances (in this case 3 Instances) for the metric Deposit Amount (EUR) in order to be able to calculate the average. I would like to use the following calculation:Deposit Amount = Deposit Amount (EUR) / Deposit Amount (EUR) InstancesUnfortunately, the “Deposit Amount (EUR) Instances” metric is currently not available for events. Another possibility to calculate the instances would be to apply a segment on a global Instances metric (hit-based segment, “Deposit Amount (EUR)” exists). But neither the global Instances metric is available. The available calculation “mean” would not solve the problem either. Are there any plans to add such metrics to the Calculated Metrics Builder? This would be highly appreciated.
It will be ideal to have “Enforce FTP IP/Domain Restrictions” menu under “Company Settings > Security” of R&A for Analytics scheduled/unscheduled reports.
In Ad-hoc, when applying a segment in a fallout, that segment is evaluated at every step of the fallout funnel, while in Workspace, it does not when applying the segment to the panel or fallout. To get Workspace fallout to mimic Ad-hoc's fallout rules, you would have to apply the segment in-line for every step of the fallout, which can be a pain. To resolve this, I would like to see an option in the fallout settings in workspace that would allow the segment to be evaluated at every step. See below.
I would suggest to show MoM and YoY change on the graphs on hovering above a particular data point
Would be nice to have the ability to add a calendar for setting the time frame to an individual Freeform component. That way we could easily compare 2 different time frames more easily, e.g. Compare Nov 2018 to Nov 2017 without all the data for Dec 2017- Oct 2018.
It would be nice to have a toggle where it would show each columns value (# of visits/visitors/hits) above the column. This would be particular useful for PDFs when you aren't interacting with it. Histograms can often be skewed, so the Y-Axis isn't always very helpful.
My team offers support within the company for Workspace. Because of this responsibility, we all have many many projects users have shared with us over the years. It would be nice if we could remove these items from our project list without reaching out to each original owner individually. We know the projects can be transferred to a central account and magic can be worked out that way. However, we have hundreds of users and maintaining that process for one or two admins is not very practical.
I'd like to propose a new variable that is used to capture both pageviews and actions. I've always done this as a best practice in my implementations, but started to think it wasn't necessary now that dimensions and dimension types can be mixed in Workspace pathing. For example, I can start with Page, select a page, then drag in Custom Link, select a link value, drag in page, etc. This type of analysis is done often in the app world, but makes just as much sense in web analysis too. However, that example is not a replacement for a single variable that captures everything. One big reason is that the above bold example assumes there is a custom link in between each page view. There may not be - a pageview could take place immediately following a pageview - and that path would be ignored from the visualization.A similarly big reason is that two non-pageview links in a row also wouldn't be represented in the bold example. And finally, if the user happened to download a file in between those steps, there would be no identification of that action. Here's an example of the type of path that could be identified thanks to this mega-dimension - currently populated via my custom prop. I've highlighted a path of users starting on home, clicking a dead image (Custom Link), clicking the Photos nav menu button (Custom Link), then landing on the photos page. You can see the path listed on top was just a simple, home then Exit Link. If a download link had occurred, that information would also be listed in the path.
Hello Adobe product team,I'd like to request a feature about which my colleagues have already discussed with Adobe Client Care. As stated in the title, creating an own metric in Workspace results in an empty data row. This empty data row appears for a time frame previous to the selected time frame, as you can see in the picture below:Client Care stated that this "lookback window" is working as designed. The problem for us is that this presentation leads to the assumption that data in regular reports are missing. This is a a huge issue for us, since colleagues who are not familiar with this can be confused. Therefore, an option to hide this "lookback window" would be helpful.Kind regards,Patrick
Could ould you please give us a smart and elegant way to set the product string using processing rules. We have some pretty robust / absurd product strings in our implementation - so I am happy to be part of a beta/pilot. for example: ;afa7a60c3a34479cae357ec8efdd2170;;;event36=24|event131=669.98|event132=11|event133=658.98|event137=1|event153=1|event165=47|event212=0|event213=5.69|event214=5.31|event158=0|event163=0;evar53=33900103|evar62=24|evar68=47|evar72=101|evar77=false|evar90=deal|evar29=false|evar63=669.98~11.00~658.98
The existing share feature for Workspace means that the recipient is forced to go through the login screen despite the fact that he/she is already logged in. This is made worse by the fact that the login is for the Analytics point solution rather than the MC. This makes the feature useless in our company. It should be an easy fix to allow logged in users to move straight to the workspace rather than log in for each shared link.
within the scheduling option for workspace projects i would love to see the following improvementsAdd Tags at the moment of creating a schedulewhen creating a new schedule within the workspace project, i can not add a tag for the schedule. i need to go to the schedule manager after the creation to manually add the desired tags. within the popup for adding a new schedule i would love to see an option to add my tags, maybe already filled in the tags from the underlying workspace projectVisibility of Schedules when opening a Workspace projectwhen i open a workspace project i can not see if there is an active/expired or even failed schedule. i would like to see a mark (near the star), that shows me any schedules on this project:Mark scheduled projects in projects listwhen looking at the project list i would love to see those projects with a schedule.hope to see some improvements to the GUI
Hi,We do all AB test analysis in Workspace or Ad Hoc. I'll also get a data warehouse export so I can do some stats calculations.that require the data by visitor. At the moment we have to use our own custom evar to track whether users are in a test or not (which is not as reliable) because A4T doesn't show up to be used in data warehouse. Is there any way this can get added? It would be a HUGE help.ThanksAlison
When you share a Short link to a Workspace or R&A Report or when users get an Alert email with a link to "Analyze Further", these links contain their own session IDs which almost always requires users to log in again. After logging in, they most of the time do not land on the report they clicked on, but on the normal landing page. After then clicking on the link again, they usually get to the report they wanted to see. However then soon often follows a log out of the other tabs a user is using the Adobe Analytics interface.Links should no longer contain their own session IDs so this logged-out-have-to-login nuisance stops.
Lets say I have two metrics I like (Visits and Conversion Rate), and I frequently look at them by 'Visit Number', 'Marketing Channel', 'Products'. Yes, I should just make a dashboard and be done with it. However, I would love the ability to have the following workflow.1. Add metrics to a table. (in my example, I am thinking about adding them as columns/on top)2. Grab multiple dimensions and drop it on the the table.3. After the above action is taken, workspace would automatically create multiple freeform tables based on the number of dimensions dropped on the table. Here are some use cases for this:1. Faster dashboard creation.2. Faster analysis.3. Admins, Analysts, New Users want to quickly see what values are showing up in each report/dimension.4. Analysts can quickly grab important (favorited/tagged) dimensions and create a view very quickly.I think admins and analysts would find this feature particularly helpful and i believe it would make working in analysis workspace that much better (than it already is) Let me know your thoughts. : )
Need a way to show hour to date sales for comparison to last year. If you use the YOY Basic Tempate in Workspace and click on the calendar, hour is not an option. Please add hour as an option.
Currently, the Adobe Analytics tool does not show Logs for Classification rule builder. I happen to check with the client care team as well and they confirmed that the logs are not available at backend as well. The option should be available in Admin Logs so that admin can track down users who made changes in the RULE Builders rules.
When you use "transfer" feature of user management for following objects there is a column "Shared":- Bookmarks- Dashboards- Calendar EventsThis is fine. For following objects there is NO column "Shared":- Calculated metrics- Segments- ProjectsWe would like to have for all kind of object the column "Shared" with yes/no info. Background:Before we delete a user we have to be sure that this user did not share something which will be missed by other others after user deletion. So currently we only have half of the truth. We have to check manually if the user shared calculated metrics/segments/projects.So this is time consuming currently and should be easy to fix for Adobe.
