Workflow started notification

Hi Community,

How can I get notified when a workflow gets started?

I can see the string "The workflow has started" in the summary screen of a delivery, how can use this to notification purposes.

I checked the delivery alerting resource and it does not include this filter for use.

 

Any suggestions would be great.

In the absence of "Alert" activity in ACS, you can "fork" after the workflow's 1st activity. One end will proceed with the existing workflow (as-is) and at the other end, add a new "Query" activity with "Email" delivery to target workflow started notification.

@shelly-goel, I did explore that option earlier, but that would mean, I have to modify all my existing workflows and its not ideal, is there no other way to achieve this notification, like we get for the deliveries via the delivery alerting dashboard?
