TRAP vs PROOF vs EMAIL Rendering differences for test profiles

Hello, 

 

Can someone explain the difference between a trap, a proof and an email rendering for a test profile ?

I which to create a test profile to see if my emailing campaign is well setup, however I do not want to send a test email to all the real targeted audience. 

How should I proceed ?

TRAP => is not included for testing. This is rather a "copy" recipient which is included in the final sendout

PROOF => this refers to sending out a test email to the selected test profile. Sounds this is what you need.

EMAIL RENDERING => this will send the email to litmus and generate graphical rendering images based on a large number mail/web clients (subject to license / tokens)
