Was looking through the configure email section and I noticed that you can add a tracking pixel... Is this new or is this part of Journey AI?

Tracking pixel always existed in ACS or ACC through the Nms Open formula. This option to add the pixel at the top of the email is new.

The main reason is the content that’s built above 102 kB is lost in certain email clients. Needless to say, trimming content is the worst thing that can happen to your emails.

Listing few of them:

  • Loss of click-throughs
  • Lack of optimized metrics
  • Loss of critical footer info (unsub, preferences center, copyright)
  • Increased spam reports
  • Loss of interactivity (dynamic AMP interactivity)

Thanks,

David
